Who is this program for?

This program is intended for 2 indivduals: 

  • anyone who participates in strongman - recreationally or competitively.
  • anyone who wants to follow a strength program that prioritizes squats, deadlifts, overhead press, rows, carries, and grip work - no specialized equipment required. Any strongman specific exercises can be substituted or omitted. 

What equipment do I need?

  • a barbell, plates, squats stands, a bench, and something to carry (i.e. sandbag or stone) are the minimum requirements.
  • DB's, pull-up bar or lat pull-down, and strongman equipment completes the necessary equipment list. 

How long is this program?

  • the program is meant to be followed 3-5 days per week, whatever fits your schedule.
  • the program can be completed in 12-20 weeks, depending on how many days per week you workout.

How much time do I need to devote to each training session?

  • On average, there are about 4 exercises per day. Depending on your strength level/fitness level, I would guess 45-90 minutes per session. I can finish all of these sessions in 1 hour if I move quickly, 90 minutes if I take my time.
